Home / How to apply
Step-by-step≈ 10 min · nothing beyond the box

Apply your skin
in three steps.

Premium matte vinyl, precision-cut and peel-and-stick. No heat, no hairdryer, nothing beyond the squeegee in the box — and if you ever want a redo, it lifts off clean with no residue.

In the box
Your skin · squeegee
Nice to have
A drop of isopropyl alcohol for stubborn dust
Best conditions
Room temperature, flat surface, good light
1

Clean your device

Power down and unbox your skin and squeegee. Wipe the top panel until it's clean and completely dry with the microfiber cloth — a little isopropyl alcohol lifts stubborn dust. Nothing should sit under the vinyl.

Check around knobs and pads where dust collects
No household sprays or oily wipes — they leave film
2

Peel & lay it on

Peel the skin off its backing. Hover it above the device first and line the cutouts up with your knobs, pads and screen — then lay it straight down, starting from one edge.

Use the screen cutout as your alignment anchor
Don’t stretch it into place — reposition instead
3

Squeegee it down

Press it down everywhere with the squeegee, smoothing from the centre outward so it grips edge to edge. Give the borders and cutout edges one extra pass. That's it — you're done.

Centre → outward, in overlapping strokes
No fingernails or hard edges on the matte surface

Good to know

Temperature

Apply at room temperature. Cold vinyl goes stiff; hot vinyl stretches.

Repositionable

If it lifts or shifts, peel gently and re-lay it. The adhesive forgives a second try.

Removing it

Peel slowly from a corner. No residue, no damage to your gear.

If something goes sideways

I’ve got a bubble under the vinyl

Push it toward the nearest edge with the squeegee. If it won’t move, lift that corner of the skin, let the air out, and lay it back down.

The cutouts don’t line up

Peel back slowly from the closest edge — not the whole sheet — realign against the screen cutout, and re-lay. Don’t pull the vinyl tight to make it reach.

An edge keeps lifting

Usually dust or a fingerprint under that edge. Lift it, wipe the panel there with the cloth, and squeegee it back down firmly.
